House Church near Martinsville, Danville, or Blacksburg (Roanoke, Lynchburg: live in, moving)

We are looking for a home fellowship of Christians who take the Bible seriously. Does anyone know of one near Martinsville, Bassett, Collinsville, Patrick Springs, Stuart, Danville or anywhere else in that area?

We are also interested in the Appomattox area and the Blacksburg area.

It could also be in NC, near Mount Airy or Lowgap.

We are looking for a fellowship, probably a home fellowship, with these characteristics:
no pastor or individual leader; no clergy
teaching done by the brothers
take the Bible seriously
open, participatory worship
non-judgmental toward other churches

We may be moving in that area and meet like you do. We are looking for people to meet with. Where do you live? We would move to either Lynchburg or somewhere near Martinsville. Have you found a place to meet yet. I do know of a family in Vinton, Va(near Roanoke)

We are leaving tomorrow to look for a home near Hickory, NC. There are a couple of home fellowships in that area.

We weren't able to find a fellowship in the other areas.

Sarah:

We have recently left a fellowship just like yours. Although we left, we agree with many of the principles taught. We would very much like to find people who want to meet like you do also. At this moment, my husband is looking for a job in Lynchburg, Martinsville, and near Chicago. I would like to move back to Virginia but mostly, I want to go where God directs us. We should find out by next week where we are going. God knows the desires of my heart and if He feels lead to bring them to me, that would be great. Actually, now that I think about it, my real desire is to serve Him, to find people to meet with who really love Him. This life is too short to do other than that. Too many people dying and going to hell. I would like it very much if we could start a coorespondance. Please let me know how NC works out for you.

Hello Sarah,

I live in Danville, VA. You mentioned looking for fellowship. I was wondering if you are familiar with Cleveland Believers Fellowship in Cleveland NC. We went there for a while but live so far away. We have a bible study on Fri. at our home here and have for several years. We are a small group. My husband moderates, and those who come love Jesus and want to get into the scriptures. I am always blessed by the meeting and sharing. We enjoy the hymns. I hope you have found what you wanted in Hickory. God Bless, Michelle
