Thanks so much. I would love the opportunity to connect with someone who is familiar with the resources within the school and community for autism. I appreciate your help a great deal.

Thanks so much for the resources. Do you have any experience with the public schools in Roanoke or Salem in regards to children with autism? Thanks.
This is just a very small peice of information it may or may not help. I bought a couch from a guy one time that had told he and his family use to live in Roanoke City and loved their old home and neighborhood but moved to Southwest County so that his son could get into the autism program in the county. I feel if someone is to move their intire family from a house and neighborhood they love for that then it must be a good program. I dont really know much more than that but I think you should call Roanoke County Schools and ask them about the program. Hopefully someone else can help you more. By the way good choice of wanting to live in the South Western part of the state. Roanoke is a great place to raise a family. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the feedback. We will be coming to visit the area at the end of April and I am very excited. Any other towns we should be considering in the area with a great school system?

Why not do a similar post in the Roanoke forum?
