I would go to the Hampton Roads section of Virginia. Little Creek Amphib. base is in Virginia Beach. We'll be able to help you over there! :-)

I soppose it really depends on what your budget is. I have lived here for three years I am prior military. I currently live on the outskirts of of Ghent area/ downtown norfolk fabulous area to live but can be pricey historical very well kept lots of renovations new homes and complexes being built being an entrepreneur this could be a great location for you great networking options and still close to everything without the ridiculous commute. I used to live in virginia beach and I used to live on west little creek rd between little creek base and norfolk base. I moved there because the drive from virginia beach to norfolk base or little creek base is insane because of all the heavy traffic it would take me about an hour or more to get to my ship if there were no accidents. There are lots of great options I think in the ghent area. Hampton blvd, parts of shore drive that are really nice. visit Apartmentguide.com hampton roads section do a search for norfolk or go through a real estate agent to find home rentals. Moderator cut: Realtor recommendations are NOT allowed, per the Terms of Service It really depends on your tastes and your budget good luck!!!
