Default Moving to Virginia, Where to live?

There is a job opportunity in Arlington, VA and I am wondering what areas would be ideal for our family of 5. We have 2 kids in elementary, we are an active family who spend a great deal of time outside, running, swimming, etc. It's important to find an area that is affordable, good schools, friendly, safe and has a lot to offer for families. I am willing to commute 30 - 60 mins.

Well, Winchester and the Leesburg area would be good choices. Im not sure how far away they are from Alrington, so you may want to go on MapQuest and search it there.

Winchester is a good 70 miles plus away. But Leesburg or Sterling might work. They are about 30 minutes away.
