Default Essex and Westmoreland Counties?

Does anyone have any information on these two areas? I'm looking to relocate, and they need teachers. Are these places extremely rural- or are there places you can rent? I know they are nothing like N. Va. (not a bad thing), and the pay is low, but I'm not sure I want the rat race that is NoVa. Just curious- I've not visited yet. Anyone on the board live there?

We moved to Northern Neck four years ago. I applied for a teaching job and ended taking a position here. We love it. We were looking for a place that was quiet and a place where we could retire. It is rural, but you are an hour from the city. There are places to rent. Pay is coming up. Hope you have a chance to visit and then stay.

Default Thank You!

Thank you for the reply! I was waiting for someone to pass on some information. When I looked things up, I was worried, as it seemed like there was no place to live there. Thank you!
