Strasburg area (Leesburg, Stephens City: schools, living, relocating)

We are relocating from Ohio and were considering Leesburg area. After traveling there and looking at the area again, I think it is more congested than I would like. I would also like our girls to be in a little smaller school. Does anyone have any input on the town of Strasburg and the schools there? I know it would be a drive to Dulles area but I am wondering if it would be worth it.

Have you looked around the Strasburg area at all??? I just moved up from Orlando, FL to Stephens City just north of Strasburg.... Hard to describe really, but Strasburg is just..... well...... "Different".

That said, I personally wouldn't mind living there, but my wife picked out the place and found Stephens City to be a little more of the "civilization" that she wanted.....

It's hard for me to describe Strasburg, but best I can do: If you've ever seen the movie "October Sky" with the boys in Coalwood, West Virginia, it reminds me a lot of the town as depicted in that movie from what I could gather..... It has a certain charm to it, but is an old industrial town that seems to circulate around one or two factories or plants in town....

Maybe someone else could fill you in a bit better as to what I'm talking about, but I did a LOT of looking in that area and these were my impressions of it....
