We are pretty much set on Clifton Forge, now we just have to find a home or some land here, thankfully we have two months till we close on our home here...our home here actually sold the very first day we had it on the market for what we asked for!!! AMAZING, I am so ever thankful to whoever up there is watching over us!!!

THANKS! I got in touch with a realtor and am now beginning the process, which will take a few months, I want to be sure I am in the best place possible here, thanks for your well wishes!

Lived here all of my life, same problems as larger areas, population dropping yearly, people dieing to get out, the only reason I stay is poor property I can't sell and can't afford two houses. No jobs, no activities, run down and kind of depressing actually. I would recommend surrounding county of Alleghany, Botetourt or Rockbridge. |

OK...we are checking out Low Moor instead, they have new homes going up, with lots of things for kids and etc...they are basically excuetives from the local paper mill I hear. We are also checking out Findale as well, we can afford a really nice home in this area, so I don't think we will have that kind of problem here, but thanks for the warning!
