Default Moving to Danville-Apartment Recs

I recently got a job in Danville and am trying to find an apartment. It needs to be in a safe area. If anyone knows of any one or two bedroom apartments, I'd love to hear about them.

Also, I've looked up apartments online and found Northpointe, but have been told that those apartments are in a bad area. Is this true?

Definitely stay away from Northpointe.

There are some brand new 2 bedroom townhomes on Franklin Turnpike called Turnpike Townhomes. They are 2 bed 1.5 baths and run $575 a month. It's a very safe and quiet area. Call 434-250-7296.

If those don't work for you, contact Wilkins and Co. Realty Wilkins & Co.. They offer a lot of rental properties and can guide you to the safer areas.

There aren't any big commercial complexes here besides Northpointe and Northpointe is awful. You are going to have to rent from a locally owned place and unfortunately many don't have web sites.

I just moved to Danville a little over a month ago from Greensboro, NC. The apartment market here is horrible. When I would find an apartment by driving around, there was never a business office with someone to speak with. It seems you have to know the owner of an apartment to be able to rent. Turnpike Townhomes is nice but they are tiny. It's fine if you live alone.

I haven't or don't know anyone who lives there but it is in a nice area right near Walmart and off of the main roads, Riverside and Piedmont Dr. When I have driven through there, it appeared quiet and neat. They have nice balconies. Like someone else recommended Williamsburg, quiet, residential. And also Marshalls Apt Rentals, they have nice complexes off of HWY 58. Northpointe used to be the best, the actual apts are nice but the people there have brought it down.
