Default Moving to Williamsburg, VA, Help me!!

I am moving to the Williamsburg, VA area in the fall to attend graduate school. I know nothing about the area, other than it is expensive. I was hoping that someone could shed some light on where I should move within the town or give me some solid ideas on good commuting distances and places to look at. I will be renting on a low $$$ end but want a safe, quiet place to call home.

Default Be careful...overpriced town.

I would rent a room or get a few roommates, nothing decent under 1,000 a month here...My best wishes to you.

I would suggest looking at Craigslist and checking school boards. Maybe you can find someone to rent a place with or a room in a home. I think you can find a place to rent pretty reasonably if you can find a roommate.
