Does someone know of a nice Motel/B & B to stay overnight in Lynchburg? Will be visiting for a day and night in July.

There are a variety of options throughout town. If you want to be close to downtown, the Holiday Inn Select is the only hotel actually in Downtown Lynchburg. There are also a few historic B & B's downtown, one of which is the Norvell-Otey House. More out in the Boonsboro area is Ivy Creek B & B. If you need to be closer to Liberty University, there are several hotels over that way, like the Sleep Inn (which we stayed in a few times when house hunting here).
