I grew up in South Hill, VA - just down the street from L-ville, and I spent many highschool nights hanging out in Lawrenceville. I don't think there are many apartment complexes in L-ville... if any at all! You may be able to contact a realtor and see about houses to rent. There is a college in L-ville, so there may be houses around St. Pauls that are rented out... but I think St. Pauls is mostly on-campus living.

If you really are looking for apartments, I know South Hill has some really nice ones off of Hwy 47, on Raliegh Rd. Its about a 30 minute drive from SH to L-ville, all on Hwy 58. Its pretty quick, I did it every Tues/Thurs my last 2 years of high school. You may find something (houses or apts) for rent in Broadnax too, that is a small town sort of in between SH and L-ville.

Default Apartments

As far as I know, there aren't any apartments/complexes in Lawrenceville. It tends to be more residential homes, and very racially separated. Lawrenceville was possibly the worst place I've ever been. Prejudice, run down, bad education. Oh well, you didn't want my opinion so I'll stop there.

However, South Hill does have a few apartments. The last I heard there were three complexes. There may be more now as I haven't even been to the area in over four years.

Yes there are a few newer apartment complexes in Lawrenceville. And it's nowhere as bad as the previous poster will lead you to believe. I find it very friendly, very well rated schools and not so much run down but just a small town with no industry. Check it out yourself and go downtown and check out especially the library. It is one of the best I've ever known.
