maybe by now you have discovered all of our posts about williamsburg. if not, search by my name or "williamsburg" we have covered just about everything over the last few months.

tell us a little more - price range, rent or buy, what you would like in a community, etc.

the area is beautiful, still small enough to not have huge traffic and crime problems, great schools - which all translate into a high cost of housing. in general a higher education level, many retirees that were in upper level management or military/government. Great outdoor recreation, essentially no nightlife. philanthropy to the max - a few yers ago rated #1 by a major news weekly magazine. The College of course is top-notch, attracting fabulous students. Always rated as great place for both retirees and families. the surrounding area is known as james city county - the actual City of williamsburg is quite small - and charming.

I would most likely need a roommate, and since it's essentially at least some part a college town, i'm assuming that wouldn't be a difficult obsticle? lower rent price range, but if i'm sharing with a roommate that shouldn't be too bad. preferably a rent house. safe community. quiet or not, as long as it's safe. what are the age groups like? is it mostly retirees, or split with college aged students? since it's a colonial town, what kind of museums are there? are there any jobs in the historical fields? also, could you give me actual summer/winter temps? i'm from oklahoma so i tolerate frequently changing extremes fairly well. just curious.

also, does anyone know of a link to pictures of the town outside of colonial williamsburg website? i'm dying to see the rest of the town outside of busch gardens and the tourist area. (i've researched that like crazy already. )

thanks in advance!
