i have a house in Wilderness shores and iam not going to sell but anyone want to rent for 1,800$ a mouth with 5 bedrooms 4 bathrooms and 2 kit. basement is done. A deck, ect. I put in this house about 80,000 extra. Anyone wants to see, call me at 540-399-9783. hope to hear from you! thanks!

Hi everyone-
I am a local real estate agent and I happen to live in Wilderness Shores! I read the previous post. Unfortunately, there is a lot of incorrect information.
First of all, you can turn on to rt. 3 from the neighborhood and turn directly into the neighborhood as well. The neighborhood has 2 entrances. Secondly, there are no sidewalks BUT there aren't sidewalks in any of the neighborhoods in this area! The property values have lowered considerably in the past 3 years (not 3 months). There are some rentals in the neighborhood as with any other. Of course there has been a lot of REO (foreclosure) and short sale activity. You tell me what neighborhood hasn't?!
If anyone is interested in this area or any surrounding areas, please feel free to contact me. I will give you accurate information and can certainly let you know what is available out here.

Katey101, I think you're talking about my post from almost a year and a half ago ... Back then there was only one entrance to Wilderness Shores, and when we were looking at homes there (around 3 years ago ), their cheapest model did drop in price by 75k in 3 months, so yes, it's been 3 years...
