Not really. Bet we won't be the #1 state for business next year.
Ha Norfolk and Portsmouth voted for Deeds by a wide margin.

Good News For Whom?
How can anyone say this is good news? Virginia faces a $5 billion deficit and it will be Bob McDonnells job to cut the budget. He won't raise taxes on the wealthy, instead he will cut money on education, transportation, social programs, impose tolls on the interstates(a done deal), raise property taxes(an easy way to say he won't raise taxes). There is no way any politician can say he won't raise taxes, he MUST! Deeds was a big disappointment but after Bob McDonnell gets through with us we will wish we had democrats back running the state!

Doesn't change the reality
Republicans stink.
Thank God for the northern portion of this state.

I think it's wonderful. Good for the people of Virginia who stood up and told Obama what they think of the job he has done.
IMO, the northern part of the state belongs to the transplants from up north and it really not Virginia. It was the older, native Virginians who got sick of the transplants saying what Virginia believes in and stood up and had their say. I only wish I could have been home to do the same.

The Northern Part: Fairfax and Loudoun both went for McDonnell! Look at the map -- the whole state is RED. Hopefully, they will cut taxes on the wealthy. If SOMEBODY doesn't start spending soon, we'll never get out of this mess. And, obviously, the wealthy are the only ones with disposable income right now!
