Hi there, My husband and I are thinking about moving south with our 2 teenage daughters however we need an area where he could get a job, he's a retired firefighter, and has construction experience also. We want to find a 4 bdrm home, under 300k, with about an acre of land. We also would need to find a good church and a Christian High School.

Is that enough information?? Are there any suggestions? or do we need to go further south?
Thanks

With that information you can move to most any place. Construction is a trade that can be used anywhere, and a house of that price range is widely available. Do you want a large city?

Nice Areas are:
Tazewell, Bluefield, Wytheville, Galax, Mt.airy NC

Look at Lynchburg. There's a lot of threads on here that give the pros and cons. There are several Christian schools -- Liberty Christian, New Covenant, Timberlake. Holy Cross Catholic, Virginia Espicopal, too. Too many churches to list! Good luck.
