Default What kind of jobs

My husband and i are from MI and looking to move to VA. We plan to visit soon, but we have never been there so we are having a hard time as to were to even start looking. We would like to be in a area were there is oppurtunity for jobs. We don't mind the country but also don't want to drive 30 min to the store. My husband is an electrican and would be looking in this field for work at first. What kind of jobs are avalible there.

Depends, you might need to give more detail on your living requirements: what will you spend on housing? What social/political environment? Is commute an issue?

Depending on which part of Virginia you're in, those answers can vary greatly. Yay for VA being a limbo state between north and south :/

Maybe tell us where you're coming from and why you want to leave. Also why do you want to move to VA? What is your career field, or do you plan to be a stay-at-home-mom?

That kind of info can help us give recommendations.
