Those Rocky Mount, VA statistics don't look right to me. According to the actual town government web site of Rocky Mount, VA the population is approximately 5,000 residents.

I don't think Rocky Mount was ever 91% white. Rocky Mount has a rich African American history (see the Booker T. Washington national monument east of Rocky Mount, and Ferrum College west of Rocky Mount). The 91% white statistic you cite is for the whole of Franklin County - population 51,000. Rocky Mount is the county seat for Franklin. Franklin County itself is still about 91% white. I suspect that this demographic proportion will remain; if anything, the county will become more white as time passes due to the influx of retirees and white collar commuters who work in Roanoke.

If you visit maps.google.com and enter Rocky Mount, VA you should be able to scroll westward and see plenty of place names. It would be difficult and time consuming to compile a list by hand.
