Which spa in Blacksburg, VA, should one go to for a facial?
I've been trying to decide where to go to get a facial in Blacksburg, VA. I've heard of several different places: Classic Body Image, Tivon, Elite Style Salon, Images by B, etc., but which place offers the best facials? I don't want to go to just anyone because some facials can end up doing more harm than good if the facialist doesn't know what they're doing. I've never had a facial, so any advice and recommendations will be very welcome. My skin's been through enough to not ask around. Thanks! :)

Ok, as a senior male in finance, I feel a bit "gay" answering this question, but, what the hell? Nobody knows my name here anyway.
The only place I've been to on that list is Images by B. I went there in March 2005 to get my chest waxed (gay!) and they did a really good job. The place looks really upscale--actually, way more upscale than almost anything else in Blacksburg. The people there were cool, too. So, I'd give my experience at Images by B a very solid rating.

I haven't lived in Blacksburg in 5 years, but I'd make a special trip down there as an excuse to go to Yellow Sulpher Springs. Victoria is wonderful! Its a more holistic, natural spa. You won't get extractions or microderabrasion. But you will leave feeling wonderfully. My friends and I always make time to go there on our annual trip down there.
The spa in on the site of the historic Yellow Sulpher Springs hotel and can be found with a google search.

Yellow Sulphur Springs
That sounds like a pretty nice place to check out. I actually haven't even heard of it, so I'm glad you pointed it out. It gives me another place to definitely consider.

You should try Pampered Healing Massage and Day Spa in Christiansburg! They are excellent and the four-layer facial is fantastic! They also do awesome massages and mud wraps!

I don't think you have to worry about the "gay" stereotype in Blacksburg.
Most students there don't even know what it means!

Being gay has nothing to do with going to a spa. I hate sterotypical people who just assume things. Anyway.. Its in Salem but worth the drive.. Spava.. They also have one is Roanoke but Salem would be a bit closer for you. Totally worth the drive.
