Sure. Because VW is the only car manufacturer out there that has had to mass recall vehicles. Guess most makes equal junk then with that logic.

I wasn't really referring to the styling, which is always subjective. To get the Jetta down to the new $15,995 price, VW cheapened pretty much everything on the car. There was always the feeling that while a Jetta cost more than its competition, you were getting higher quality materials and a better "feel". They've taken all that out just to hit a price point. I fear that VW has moved away from their base to chase the mass market and it will come back to bite them.
