Default Montgomery Village-Stedwick area

Hi all MVers,
I grew up in the Frenchton place area of Montgomery Village 20 years ago. We are considering a visit/move to the Stedwick area of Montgomery Village..what I have heard lately about the area is unsettling. Is that area of Montgomery Village safe for families and small children? Are the gangs affecting life there? When I lived there, we could all play outside and never worry about safety. Any feedback from folks who live in that area would be great!

I live there and I see kids outside playing all the time. I have yet to see gang activity of any sort there. That being said which neighborhood are you looking for exactly?

Specifically the Clusters I and II? It seems far enough away from Lakeforest Mall.

Yeah, I never heard of anything bad happening there. It seems quiet and peaceful there. I live in the Club Hill development. Its nice and quiet where I live.
