Does the New Carrollton Metro Station fill up during weekdays? How late can I go and still be able to get a parking spot. How long can I park there.

It's been a while for me, but I have gone there as late as 8am and found a spot. plus there are other nearby parking lots that are the same price as metro parking. Largo--forget it, 7am and it's all over. you can park all day.

It used to be that New Carrollton filled by 8 am. Back in the day, I would park at Landover when New Carrollton was full (before I heard that the Landover station was the target of a lot of car break-ins and thefts). But I never had a problem at Landover.

I would say at the absolute latest, be at New Carrollton by 8am. Monday's and Friday's are always lighter than the rest of the week.

If you're parking on the side where IRS is located I suggest getting there by 8am however if you're parking on the other side by Rt. 50 and where the business park is located usually you'll be able to find a space as late as 9:30 and sometimes 10am. As for the lot on the 450/IRS side I wouldn't suggest parking too far back near the gates as a few riff-raff enter/exit through the gates from the apartment complexes that are over there. My car was broken into once while parked a ways back last September.
