Just out of curiosity, which areas of Montgomery County have higher Asian population, specifically of Chinese origin? From the MCPS site, that appears to be the Wootton School district, but I was wondering if that assessment can be narrowed down further.

My husband has worked for an SAT tutoring company in Rockville for five years, and the almost the entire student body (maybe 98%) is Asian. Many are Taiwanese, and many are Korean. I think it is safe to say that most of Mont Co has a substantial Asian population...especially Rockville. Hope this helps a bit.

Churchill, Wootton, or Whitman. The three W's still have a huge following in the Chinese community. Although I personally don't think the schools are as strong as they used to be (or at least there are more competition from Fairfax and Howard counties).

Winston Churchill, Wootton, Richard Montgomery, Paint Branch and Poolesville high schools are all over 20% Asian, with Wootton being 35% Asian. There are several elementary schools in Montgomery County in which Asians comprise either a majority or plurality.

Chinese are the largest Asian demographic in Montgomery county and constitute over 20% of the population of North Potomac.
