Seeking feedback on any safety concerns in the Kingsview Village neighborhood of Germantown/Boyds. We would be living in the single family houses.

Seems like homeowners take great care of homes, lawns, etc. Our hesitation is that we have young children, and RARELY see young children playing outside. Could be our timing in visiting, but wondered if there was some kind of concerns parents have, or if there are just not many kids there.

I lived in Germantown not far from kingsview and I think the Kingsview community is nice. I mean driving through it looked great and I rememeber the townhouse there being priced higher than ones in my community (about same age, size). So I figured it must be better. Can't comment about kids playing outside.

While living in Germantown, I found that no one was home during the day....housing is so expensive that both parents usually worked, and by the time they arrived home, had dinner, homework, etc, there was no time for kids to play outside during the week. On weekends, it varied, but I rarely saw kids in my neighborhood--even the ones that lived a couple houses down.
