I came across this new community being built by Winchester Homes in Silver Spring.

Poplar Run New Townhomes Silver Spring, Montgomery County, Maryland (MD) | Winchester Homes

Are the townhomes priced well for this area? What do I need to know & do before buying a brand new home? Anyone have experience with the builder and/or the new home purchase process?

thanks!

I wish the location fed into a better high school cluster.

Any updates/reviews of this community or Winchester Homes? Seriously considering signing a contract for a new townhome.

Recently another poster asked about Poplar Run. You might contact the OP directly for a review: Glenmont -Safe to raise a family?

This survey ranked the quality of Winchester Homes as first in the DC area in 2009: http://www.builderonline.com/custome...ty-levels.aspx

Personally, I feel the Poplar Run development will be an great asset to the area when it is fully dveloped. The pricing on the townhouses is competitive. But, as the PP said, I wish the high school were better rated.
