We're considering a SFH in the Stewart Town area of Montgomery Village (north of Stewart Town park, just off Goshen Road, near Goshen Crossing shopping center).

It seems far enough away from Watkins Mill HS, Lakeforest Mall and Emory Grove, but I would like some first-hand info from residents...

Do you know anything about the area? I'm looking for crime rates, demographics, etc?

My husband grew up near there and never had anything good to say, but no idea about how it is now. Call the local police department and they should be able to give you crime stats.

I am moving to the area and considered Montgomery Village. I spoke to some local cops who told me to stay out of the Montgomery Village area as a whole. There are some beautiful neighborhoods but will not move to the area after my conversation.
