Default National Harbor to DC

I will be staying at a Hampton Inn at the National Harbor in Oxon Hill. How would I travel to DC? Is there a train within walking distance? Thanks

2 options if you aren't driving:

1) NH1 Metrobus. Takes you to Branch Avenue Metro. From there hop on the Green Line to take you into Downtown DC. Here's the bus schedule: http://www.wmata.com/bus/timetables/md/nh1.pdf?n

2)Water taxi to Alexandria; shuttle vans to the King Street Metro served by the Blue & Yellow Lines. Also shuttle service from Gaylord Nat'l Resort to Union Station but it costs $20 round trip. More info: DC Shuttle Service from Gaylord National to Downtown Washington D.C.
