Here is the New Gaithersburg High School Animation Video with construction beginning March 15th:

The New Gaithersburg High School will have:

-state of the art building
-new presence on 355 coming almost to the road
-new school will be built mostly where the staff and student parking lots are now
-Core capacity of 2,400 students
-LEED Silver certified or higher
-more centralized spaces
-organized outside spaces including a major plaza
-outdoor cafeteria seating

Great The current facility is old and tired, and I hated the drive in to the main buildings. That will surely brighten up that part of 355.......

I think 3,000+ in the football stadium. Also, the stadium will have a turf football field. The new school will cost 107 million dollars at a total of 429,619 sq. feet. It will be the biggest school in Montgomery County. It will have a vegetation roof also which means grass will be grown on the roof.
