I'm looking for a place (have two applications in right now) but if something happens and I don't get them my new work says they pay for up to 90 days of temporary housing while I look. I am looking to rent first to be sure the area/school works for us (though I could afford to buy I'm a pretty cautious person)

However if I do this what am I going to able to do about registering my daughter for school? I won't have a lease or utility bills at that point.

Anyone have any info? I did leave messages at schools - but Roosevelt is just not helpful at all and no one has called me back from MoCo schools. I'll call Anne Arundel on Tuesday (they have always been helpful)

I talked to a Realtor rental specialist today - and he had to call me back to eat his Big Mac Meal. I know you gotta eat dude - but call me back already! LOL... This was one I left a message for last week - and the property is still available. Go figure. Guess their clients don't much care if their place gets rented. I was surprised he called me today as I thought they might be off for the Holiday.

I'm hopeful the situation doesn't present itself - but my daughter is a little freaked about it --- she does not want to start school a month late or end up switching schools and such (9th grade - 1st year of high school...so I can understand that). Honestly I hadn't really considered that since I was more concerned with other logistics of a cross country move.
