Hello all,

I'm looking for a great apartment within 15 miles of Greenbelt. I've lived in two cheap apartments before, and want to move to a more luxurious one. I've searched for far and wide, and seen many other complexes. Sadly, most of the expensive apartments often have pretty bad reviews, with safety, or management issues. Based on your personal experiences, which apartment is the best?

I'm looking in the $1300 - $1500 price range.

Please help!

I actually moved away from PG county last year, but I was going to rent in Laruel. It seems like the nicer part of PG county, and some apartments aren't that expensive.

There are some decent newer apt complexes around Cherry Lane, by Laurel Shopping & Also Contee Rd in Laurel as well.

There are new luxury condos in Hyattsville around the PG Plaza Metro Station and mall, and many many more up and down Route 1 (Baltimore Ave) between East-West Highway and Cherry Hill Road in College Park. You'll have to put in some actual foot work to find out about them. I don't know the names of most of them, I just see them all the time when I travel that corridor.

I actually looked at these apartments in College Park, but most of them charge about $1000 to $1200 per person per month. It is more for college students that want roommates. I think the nicest apartment in College Park is Wynfield park, but I have a pet Conure, and they don't like birds. They are also really pricey, but definitively worth it if you have the money!
