Oh, okay. Yes, I agree. That's why I supported it but I don't expect the 12,000 they purport and god only knows when/if they ever stick a shovel in the ground to build the thing.....

I'm feeling an overwhelming feeling of being right. How does everyone else feel?
The Dream Act wasn't really close. It won by a fairly large margin. Never really was any doubt looking at the polls.

To be honest, I'm disappointed in the state of MD. This state has literally become Las Vegas East overnight. I respect what the people of MD have voted for, and I respect their opinions but I think some of the reasoning behind passing these things don't make sense.

Question 4-Kind of confusing. These aren't just kids that are children of illegal immigrants. These are also children who were born in other countries too. I understand the need to help these individuals out, but without addressing how they will be able to obtain jobs once they finish their education, something doesn't make sense with this. I think a better solution would have been to expand naturalization and get them on the path way to becoming legal citizens.

Question 6-I think most already know my opinion on this but I will say that I think this isn't the civil issue that it was being created to be. Gays still have the right to have civil unions. The biggest issue here is the people of this state agreed to re-define what marriage is. What else will we re-define?

Question 7-Having a world class casino maybe nice, but as one of my acquaintances put it, somebody is still going to have to pay for the infrastructure to support the construction of this casino. Glad it won't be me.

And again let's not act like all of those jobs will be for Marylanders.

I've come to a different conclusion. I hope I get this job in Virginia, Maryland is a lost cause.
