This is not even remotely true. Baghead, you seem to spew a lot of biased opinions that border on the level of propaganda.

Nah man, you are dead wrong.

People come here specifically for events at the Gaylord for one...Mrs World, etc.

Second, I've already seen bus trip tours from Durham, NC to the MGM and I'm sure they'll happen often from everywhere in the mid-atlantic.

Don't know where you live but all 3 stores are within a reasonable drive from the MGM.

They're speculating a lot of the political entertainment/nightlife will migrate from DC to MGM/Harbor. Gambling is but one part of the features.

I read an interview about a bus company in Richmond that was booked clear until spring for bus trips specifically to MGM from Richmond.

I see a neighbor posted about a friend being in an accident on 210 the other day...hit from behind by someone who had left the casino intoxicated. That must be the crash I heard from my house. And so it begins...

Just found out that the "Rolex" store is actually a Finks Jewelry store that will have a Rolex section. Not exactly an exclusive jewelry store like Cartier or Tiffanys, but at least there is a luxury watch offering.

Finks was started in Roanoke, VA and can be found at average malls in the mid-Atlantic. The closest one is at Dulles Town Center.

Craftsmanship, precision, intricate detailing and design continue to be celebrated at MGM National Harbor with the addition of Fink’s Jewelers, an official Rolex retailer, to the resort’s prestigious lineup of retail brands. Scheduled to open in 2017, this Fink’s Jewelers location will feature a beautiful space dedicated to Rolex, displaying an impressive selection of the world’s finest timepieces.

Okay that makes sense because I saw a sign for it and didn't know what the hell Finks was lol. Since their traditional store is not brand exclusive, they should offer a variety of high end watches and not just Rolex. Just my opinion.
