I currently live in Dumfries and am considering buying a new build. There are new homes in Woodbridge which are quite expensive. I recently visited the St. Charles area and so far like what I see. Its similar to Dumfries, and the homes are 100,000 dollars less and larger. What is the area like? The community is near the Gleneagles apts. I also noticed ponds near, has there been alot of mosquitoes and snakes?
The school is one rating below the school my kids are in now. I took a tour, and it was okay. Test scores and parent reviews are higher than were we are now.

I think you will like the area. A new high school is scheduled to open next year, and the new community center, with a gorgeous new pool, just opened this spring. The neighborhood is adjacent to White Plains Park, and the park is accessible by walking trails. There are playgrounds, a new community garden section will be open soon, and the minor league baseball team that plays nearby does a lot of community events.
