Hello All,

I am trying to figure out if I should anticipate more housing coming on the market in College Park, Mt. Rainier, and Hyattsville Hills as we approach spring and summer. It's been terribly slow during the winter, i.e. one decent house every two weeks. I'm hoping it gets better.

I read the thread where you and others were talking about what appeared to be an overpriced home a block from DC. It appears that the house is under contract. On the webpage, I did see another home going for $279,000. Looked like another gut job/flip situation, but it wasn't bad at all.

Yeah that house was nice but the basement had standing water when I went to see it. 359k for that house seemed crazy.

The area that you mentioned is begining to get popular. I promote it all the time as an alternative to DC.

I agree, and I wonder what the offer was? It looked very nice to be having standing water.
