My friend and I are looking to rent an apartment in PG or Montgomery County. She drives, and I do not, so we would like to be within walking distance from a metro station. Any suggestions for safe neighborhoods and/or apartment complexes near Metro?

Thanks!

Try looking into Mosaic at Metro! Its located in PG County, Hyattsville, MD. There's parking provided and its 30 second walk to the green line metro stop, PG Plaza. Good Luck!

If you want to live off of a metro station so you can walk to it i would highly advise going towards the Montgomery County area. I don't want to start a PG vs. MoCo thread, yes there are parts of PG that aren't bad (most being away from the metro). But in my opinion, when it comes to walking to metro stops I would stick with the LEFT side of the dc metro map
