In the same way that it's insane to call Wheaton or downtown silver spring "unsafe", I think people go over the top with Bethesda being snobby. A lot of time this is in people's heads. I was wondering the same thing. Bethesda, I can see, but Gaithersburg I don't know. Maybe this list should've included DC for their "Van Ness" and "Georgetown" wards. They fit their requirements for "Snobby"!

The parts of the city of Gaitherburg that is in the 20878 ZIP code area does have a few snobby people. You can tell when they refuse to admit that they live in Gaithersburg. They prefer to call it North Potomac (which is one of the names used for the area next to Gaitherburg.)
