Hello we are just moving to the Fort Meade area. I am looking for very good schools for my high school and middle school child. I believe they are zoned to go go Meade High school on base and to Mcarthur Middle school. My understanding they could possibly have a choice of another school or two. After reading reviews of the middle school it seems to have low ratings. The high school has ok rating . My children currently have been in advanced magnat schools. One is a science and engineering academy the other all AP and Honors program. I really would like them to stay on the same track because we might not be in this area long due to transferring back in about a year or 2. Could someone please advise. We have to go get them signed up asap. I am looking for a school with good diversity, teachers that are understanding and car and good music and honors education. Blessings to you all.
