The founders probably went to one of the two colleges there so they start business where they were. They in turn attract skilled workers from out of state (transplants).

Some cities work hard to attract big business by offering tax breaks in order to create jobs. What is Baltimore going?
There is a lot of regional/local talent in Baltimore and if you have to ask the question what is Baltimore doing how can you assume that there are not certain things going on like offering tax breaks which the city have had and currently do.

So what are you trying to say? Are you agreeing with me or trying to make a new point?

Tax breaks are only a good incentive if a business believes it will make lots of $$$ from profits. If Baltimore is not a profitable place to be.. then tax breaks don't mean ish.

Your right luckily Baltimore boasts some of the highest, most desirable real estate in the Mid-Atlantic it is a profitable place to invest in as Harbor Point and Harbor East are being developed through tax breaks with Exelon headquarters relocating here at Harbor Point building under construction as we speak and the Four Seasons expansion in Harbor East.

As well as density, not to mention vibrancy.

Hilarious, next thing you're gonna say is DC jacked Bmore's "fashion"

Btw, it's really not THAT much bigger than DC geographically and even then, there's an ample amount of not-so-desirable and downright decrepit or s***ty neighborhoods that make up much more than a few spots in West Bmore, East Bmore, South Bmore, and even around the DT Bmore area within that geography. Kinda leaves a void in pulsating spontaneity and resonating life in a lot of parts of Baltimore compared to DC, New York, Boston, and Philly.

And outside of the Government, DC's economy is quite diverse and the rest of The City becomes even more interesting once you get away from The Mall. It's more alive and radiant than Bmore that's for damn sure.

Final testing at the facility is under way, and it is expected to be fully functional in early July.
