The news of the Pontiff being in DC is mainly on DC traffic. As someone who travels to/from PGCo to Alexandria every day, there is no information on how the Pope is getting to DC. Will there be road travel (as I suppose)? Will the beltway be affected?

I am pretty sure they won't announce the Pope's travel route. It is a security thing.

I expect he'll travel by chopper. Can't see crowds lining Suitland Parkway, much less 495.

Chopper. I saw the plane land and the choppers go. I think he was riding an old panhead on the parkway.

He was ferried about by helicopters.
