Hi. I am considering relocating to the Woodley Garden area in Rockville MD. Can anyone tell me what driving time would be like during AM and PM rush hour from Woodley Garden area to the White Flint metro? My child care is off of Randolph Road in Rockville. I currently live in Silver Spring. I commute to DC for work. My preference is not to change child care centers so I am trying to get a sense of what my commute to and from would look like driving in addition to the metro commute. Thanks!

Woodley Gardens to White Flint Metro is about a six-mile drive, but at AM/PM rush this could equate to a drive of 30 minutes or more depending on your travel direction. There are lots of route options, some of which are longer distance but likely faster drive times. Southbound in the morning and northbound in the evening are the most congested times, but if you're traveling the opposite direction, you could do it in under 15 minutes.
