I dislike everything about it but I am glad they have ppl willing to eat there! But I can't say I am surprised that I didn't like it. I am not a fan of any of the owner's restaurants.

Is that for reasons outside of the restaurants themselves? Because I've eaten at both and was pretty satisfied with the food. We ate at Potomac Pizza and had some of the pasta and a calzone and both were on par with a lot of the other pizza restaurants, if not better.

We haven't been back to College Park Grill but the first time we dined there, we weren't dissatisfied. It certainly isn't what the owner billed it to be, "power lunch crowd". But it certainly is better than another pizza joint or another Asian restaurant. I recall being concerned with the number of pizza joints opening up, but now realize that with the number of new Asian restaurants opening up, RT. 1 in College Park is becoming a haven for Asian cuisine foodies.

Nope, just based on my palette. My friends didn't like it either. I'm glad someone does and can support these businesses though.

Can someone please create an off-campus UMD apparel/book store? It's kind of embarrassing that we no longer have such a store when other colleges and universities still do.

Where can I go off-campus to look for a UMD sweatshirt? Socks? PJs? Onesies for a newborn? Etc? Every college that I have visited has an off-campus store where visitors can purchase these items. It helps broaden the connection to the university.

Totally agree. This is exactly what I fear is missing with the greater college park initiative. While it is definitely improving the town as a whole, it doesn’t necessarily improve it as a college town. Need many more connections to the university throughout the town. Severely lacking.

Seoul Spice is finally opening up in College Park. I thought my 4-year-old son may be a student at the University before it opened.

So now we have two restaurants opened at Terrapin Row. Much to the chagrin of those students who graduated before they opened.

Up next, Wings Over. Does anyone have an opening date for them? Looks like they are making good progress.

I ate at the Tastee Diner in Silver Spring this past weekend. I really miss Platos.

I wish there was another diner to go to in the area to get some good basic breakfast. College Park Diner is too small. IHOP and Dennys?......No.

Every college town deserves a good diner.

True. I was talking about retail in Terrapin Row specifically.

I forgot about Silver Diner. Thought it is more chain-y than Platos. College Park Diner is just too tiny for me. Also, the last time I ate there, the ceiling was leaking near our table. Not exactly a great experience. That was years ago. I may go back to check it out.
