My husband and I are considering a rental on Walker Avenue off N. Frederick Avenue but I've heard mixed opinions regarding how safe the area is to live in. Could anyone offer some insight?

Thanks in advance!

All the good advice for Gaitthersburg is to live west of 270. That was the advice before, during, and after I lived there. Rent in 20878 zip code.

It's a nice neighborhood. It gets a bad rap, but you should be fine. Things can get a little congested right up the street on 355, but you will be safe.
