I am not from PG, only been there a few times.

The only divisions I would know of are "inside the beltway" and "outside the beltway" and the southern part that many consider part of Southern MD. I don't have a name for it, but I have heard people from there consider this a unique part of the county.
The amount of farmlands, wetlands, and wooded areas down there really sets it apart from the rest of the county. I occasionally visit a farm down there and when I took my wife for the first time, she was amazed that we were still inside the county. Obviously many residents there are opposed to new developments and many put up a fight opposing the power plants that were eventually built in the area.

Northern PG- Begins at Exit 27-19/ Ends at US 50

Everything from Laurel down to Bowie meaning Belts Ville Hyattsville Greenbelt Lanham, exit on the Beltway.

Central PG- Begins at US 50/Exit 19 Ends at Pennsylvania Avenue/Exit 11

Glenarden through Largo Landover Upper Marlboro Marlboro Village Mitchellville Kettering Ardmore District Heights Walker Mill . Down until right before Forestville IMO but for good measure, let's say Exit 11

Southern PG Begins at Exit 11/ Route 4. Ends at 223..possibly Crain Highway/301

Its Andrews, Oxon Hill, Camp Springs, Morningside, Temple Hills, Silver Hill/Suitland, Marlow Heights, Friendly, Clinton most of FW

Rural PG
South of 223

Includes the fairly suburban/exurban parts of Cheltenham, Rosaryville, Clinton. I would say Piscataway is the northernmost boundary meaning its part of Southern PG. I would say Cheltenham is the equivalent for the east. Cheltenham is a part of Southern PG, whereas Marlton on the other side of 301 is Rural PG
