Coming from out of state and will be working at FDA White Oak Campus (Silver Spring, MD) I'm wondering where I should be looking for an apartment? It's just me & my 22 lb. dog. I want pet friendly 1 BR apartment, close to a transit line or direct driving path to FDA, and under $1800/month. I appreciate any suggestions, will be visiting there week of June 18 to find a place. Thanks!

I'd suggest one of the apartments very near one of the few dog parks in the area.
Here's a google Map LINK to see them
Of these... the Ellsworth or Takoma Park areas will probably suit best.

Neither of these is far from FDA or hard to get to, but... it's all still inner suburbs of DC.
Maybe with a share? Does the HR shop there do any matching?
