Hi!

I will be working in Baltimore Inner Harbor area and am interested in living in Silver Spring. The posts here mention commute between Bethesda and Silver Spring, but how is the drive from SS to Bmore? How is 95 going north in the mornings?

Thanks in advance!

I do the drive daily. 35-40 mins leaving before 7am. You are going against traffic

You forgot to say that traffic time is for good weather and no accident on the road.

Note also that Silver Spring is a large area. Downtown SS is about 10-12 miles south of some of the Northern areas that are still considered Silver Spring; so it depends on where in Silver Spring.

I think Silver Spring is a little closer than Bethesda. You will spend less time on 495, so the commute may be a little shorter.
