I'm pursuing new opportunities in the DMV area.
I currently live in the Cascade Heights neighborhood of Atlanta. My current position is Cloud Architecture.

I love CH and would like to find a similar area.

FYI: CH is where many wealthy and upper class blacks in Atlanta reside.

Stats:
-48 y.o. straight black male
-No children[not planning to have any]
-Single
-Enjoy nice lounges
-I like classic RnB and Smooth Jazz
-I can comfortably afford $2,500 for monthly rent

Thank you

Consider outside the beltway like the perimeter in Altanta is the safest areas of PG County. Statistically it has about 500-600k people with a murder rate around 2, below the national average and par with the other DC safest counties.

Most areas in central to southern portion of the county are maj wealthy and no less than 65% african american. So there is not 1 area but the entire county outside the beltway

Fort Washington is probably the closest to Cascade Heights. Plenty of trees and different types of homes. It’s not a bad trip to downtown D.C or Alexandria either.

University Park and Cheverly are municipalities that accommodate the wealthier crowd and are inside the Beltway. Although PG will always look a tad austere inside the Beltway because...well fat cats aren't just going to NOT waste money. The area inside these municipalities are nice-looking and heavily wooded. Property crime might be a issue.
