The Amish market has moved to Upper Marlboro on Brown Station Rd. It is open Thursday-Saturdays and they close at 6...not sure about the opening time.

I wish all of you would come check it out. It is a great place to buy fresh food and baked goods. Try their pretzel logs, they are out of this world.

I do not work for them, just trying to get people to come out and support Upper Marlboro's businesses. Thanks

ktrena is correct. The Burtonsville location is still open. I was there yesterday. The Burtonsville location will move to the Laurel location in the fall. The Upper Marlboro location is a separate location.

Oh, good to know, Laurel is much closer to me than Upper Marlboro! I love that Amish market! Anybody know where in Laurel it will be? I used to love to get a hot turkey sandwich in that little restaurant. They also had awesome pies and breads.

Some of the Burtonsville vendors have opened additional venues in the Upper Marlboro market -- branching out -- and will operate in both locations. There are also going to be some new vendors in the Laurel location and in Upper Marlboro.

The restaurant, last time I was there (early Aug.), was still planning on moving to the Laurel location.

I heard the one in Laurel will be located across from the Home Depot off 197. It could change though.

Have they run into trouble with the new Laurel location? They were scheduled, originally, to move in early August, but that's been delayed. I haven't heard why, but assumed (hopefully) it was just delays in preparing the new space. If it was once a funiture store, it probably needed a total rehaul in terms of plumbing and wiring.
