If I had my choice, just based off of the knowledge that I have, I prefer Howard County over Montgomery County. Not too fond of certain parts of MoCo especially certain parts of Silver Spring. I think the county is a little bit overrated if you ask me.

I like MoCo very much. I do not think it is overrated, but to each their own. After all, I don't like Howard County much. I would not rate either one as the best place in the world though.

Exactly. Everyone has their own preferences. For example, Howard County is too "suburby" for me. I need a more urban environment. so, only those areas inside the beltway will offer that whereas some people think that neighborhoods inside the beltway are worse than the green zone in Baghdad.

HoCo is pretty suburban. I find it to be in an awkward zone between suburban and rural. Developed enough that it's not rural, but not so developed that it resembles Bethesda or Silver Spring.

I agree moco is the most well rounded......Hoco to me IS Columbia, md.....pg to me allows the most personal freedom
