I just moved to Beltsville/Calveston area. I am looking for a blk salon close by. I am also about a mile from Silver Spring and Cherry Hill Road. Does any know of a place near by? My hair is relaxed.

Google: Hair Salon Beltsville, MD

May have to call a few to see if they can manage your hair type, but could be worth the time.

I did not know you were here now. There is a salon off Briggs Chaney mall in the complex where the Safeway is.

There is also a dominican shop on New Hampshire near the Cherry Hill rd intersection.

downtown silver spring has a ton of them.

There's a dominican salon on Route 1 near Powder Mill Road -- Arelis is the name I think. I tried it once and they did a very good job. If you can take the heat of that type of styling (personally I can't), that's one place to try.
