We send our children to WoodStream Academy in Upper Marlboro, very good, kind of expensive, but well worth the money IMO

We just started this year (over the summer), but I enjoy what they are doing, even though (I reiterate) it is very expensive (around 14 K a year per kid including before and after care)

One of my children used to attend Woodstream, and I did like the feel of the school and the idea of advanced learning in the early years. But don't they start at 2 years old? Or do they start earlier now? I have to admit I wasn't crazy about the summer program, but the school was a good one for my child.

Thanks for the tip...sounds like I'll have a couple of years before we are ready for that...he'll be born in January 2010 For the 3+ stage I was also looking at Burgundy Farm Day School in Alexandria. It is right over the bridge, gets great reviews and they have quite a few Ft. Washington area residents sending kids there and have a bus pickup over here. I'm chatting with a fellow lawyer in Alexandria about a nanny share currently from the Old Town Moms forum. There does not seem to be many nanny users in the Ft. Washington area so this Alexandria connection may work out.
