Default Inspection on rental

Hello everyone,

I am renting a townhouse in District Heights, MD from a private owner and I have a couple of questions in regards to landlord tenant rights. For about a month since it has gotten cold outside my family and I have noticed mice. We did attempt to put down traps (glue boards) to no avail. The exterminator did come out and put some steel wool in all of the holes. I don't have direct contact with my landlord but I do have a property manager. What I wanted to know as a renter, who do I contact to have an inspection of the property done? I feel as though there are some violations. The terminator did tell us that there were termites as well. Help!!!!

Try the Health Department. You could also try the Capitol Heights Code Enforcement Officer (call him first actually).
Capitol Heights, Maryland (http://www.mdmunicipal.org/cities/index.cfm?townname=CapitolHeights&page=officials - broken link)
